Staffing Levels, Rotas and Working Hours

Staffing levels, working hours and rotas need to be clearly set out and communicated amongst staff. The procedure set out in this policy ensures the residential home are appropriately staffed at all times and in compliance with regulations.

This policy has been updated to incorporate Employment (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2018 and the NHI Statutory Obligations for Nursing Homes and HIQA’s Regulation Handbook.
