The implementation of this policy assists the residential home in ensuring that all new staff members receive induction and orientation within one week of starting employment, are supervised sufficiently and are guided in adapting to the language and standards of the residential home.
This policy was recently updated to incorporate ”Antimicrobial stewardship Guidance for all healthcare settings’ and ‘Induction Guidelines and Checklists’.
