By Implementing the requirements detailed in this procedure, the residential home ensures that the resuscitation status of residents is investigated as required when the resident is admitted to the residential home. It is documented in the resident’s medical notes and communicated to all relevant staff members.
This policy has been updated to incorporate the HSE National Consent Policy Version 1.0.
