This policy ensures that the residential home actively involve the residents, and/or their family members, in the provision of service and the individual care provided. The residential home educates and consults with the resident, and their family members, to seek feedback, that being both complaints and compliments, to assist in the ongoing improvement of the care and service provided.
This policy was recently updated to incorporate NICE Shared Decision Making Guidance [NG197], 2021.
