This policy ensures residents are provided with all relevant information regarding the residential home, including the services provided and their own individual care on an ongoing basis. This information shall be communicated appropriately to each resident and their family members where appropriate.
This policy has been updated to incorporate HIQA and Safeguarding Ireland’s Guidance on a Human Rights-based Approach in Health and Social Care Services.
