Therapeutic and modified consistency diets provided to residents shall be facilitated by staff in accordance with their recommended needs. This policy ensures staff make mealtimes as pleasant an experience as possible for any resident with specialised requirements.
The policy was recently updated to incorporate the new International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative Framework 2019.
