It is important to ensure that all residents are provided with nutritious and varied diets that are appropriate to their needs and that any resident identified to be at risk of malnutrition is referred to appropriate services and have a nutritional care plan implemented. This policy assists in ensuring residents are assessed at admission and on a regular basis thereafter.
