This policy has been updated to incorporate ‘Public Health & Infection Prevention & Control Guidelines on the Prevention and Management of Cases and Outbreaks of COVID-19, Influenza & other Respiratory Infections in Residential Care Facilities V1.11 04.04.2023. Implementation Date 19.04.2023’.

This policy has also been updated to incorporate HSE National Consent Policy and to remove reference to Interim Clinical Guidance for the Pronouncement of Death by Registered Nurses in Identified Services in the Context of the Global COVID-19 Pandemic
