Through the use of this policy and procedure, the residential home endeavours to provide care in a manner, and in an environment, that reduces the opportunity for the transmission of infection, including COVID-19.

This policy was recently updated to incorporate ‘Current recommendations for the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic V2.9 31.03.2023’ and ‘Public Health Advice for the management of COVID-19 cases and contacts V1.2 18/04/2023’.
