This policy assists the residential home in ensuring the Catering Department has an appropriate food management system in place that takes necessary precautions when preparing meals for residents with food allergies or intolerances, food handling, preparation and storage.
This policy has been updated to incorporate ‘Public Health & Infection Prevention & Control Guidelines on the Prevention and Management of Cases and Outbreaks of COVID-19, Influenza & other Respiratory Infections in Residential Care Facilities V1.0 26.10.2021’.
